Became an OCA Interest Network
The Executive Board developed a strategic plan for membership recruitment, service and outreach activities, annual budget, logo development and marketing strategies. They also created committees and appointed co-chairs. They developed a plan to implement a membership interest survey.

OARTC Executive Board publishes article
Through a collaboration with the International Association for Resilience and Trauma Counseling (IARTC), the executive board published:

All Ohio Counselors' Conference
OARTC volunteers conducted a conference booth and held a meet and greet for members and potential members. OARTC Executive Board members and committee chairs presented a variety of sessions. We also launched our Facebook page.
January 2022
OARTC becomes an OCA division
OARTC exceeds the minimum goals required by OCA to become an official division after only 6 months! This was due to the hard work by our board, committee chairs, and interest of our members.

Medicaid Presentation: Exploring Trauma and Its Complexities
OARTC received a request for a presentation on trauma for Medicaid, focusing on caregivers and community needs. Kalesha Jenkins, Treasurer, conducted this virtual presentation.

OARTC Executive Board sponsored and facilitated a spring conference session: Trauma-Informed Counselors of Ohio: Introduction to the Ohio Association for Resiliency and Trauma Counseling Resiliency Initiatives
